Carico Coffee stands for more than just taste. We stand for purpose: protecting our land through reforestation, improving livelihoods for farmers, and sharing Bugisu’s exceptional coffee with the world

We work hand-in-hand with local communities, supporting cooperatives with training and access to processing equipment. It’s why we guide new cooperatives as they take root, and why we pre-purchase processing materials so that farmers can move towards joint ownership and independence.

It’s why we invest in schools by building pumps for clean water. Why we donate quality coffee seedlings to help farmers rebuild their stock. Why we’ve already planted over 18,000 indigenous trees at over 1,800 metres. And it’s why we plan to keep going.

Coffee isn’t just about taste. Every coffee can strengthen farming families, improves mountain lives, and help protect and preserve our land. This is about taking the opportunity to be resilient and have impact.
